JET are a band of 4 extremely experienced and seasoned musicians who have played extensively across Northern Ireland in all sorts of venues (major hotels, bars, golf clubs, outdoor festivals etc.). The band cater for a broad and varied range of musical tastes covering decades of hits from the 50s right up to the present including hits from the Everly Brothers, Beatles, Searchers, Hollies, Eagles, Mavericks, REM, Elvis. Country music and blues are also included in the extensive list of songs covered and you are guaranteed to have a great time when these guys play for you.
The band play totally live and do not rely on disks or backing tracks and can back cabaret acts and singers at weddings and corporate events if required. Discreet, tasteful and quiet background music can also be provided by the band at corporate events and functions during meal times or when guests are arriving and getting registered and allocated seating etc. before the event proper gets under way. Importantly, the band prides itself on playing at a volume appropriate to the audience and setting.

the king of live bands Enjoy good music responsibly It seems lots of bands are reforming at present. Take That, The Police, The Eagles, even Horslips, are jumping on the nostalgia bandwagon to squeeze a few quid out of their credit crunched fans. Thousands have forked out for tickets to sit half a mile away from the stage, usually in the rain, struggling to see the stage. So its no surprise that a band that covered the music of these acts first time around is also taking to the stage again! The Free Beer Band could be found in bars throughout Ireland in the 80's and 90's, and has been discharged from rehab to bring rock and pop to local music venues. The band hope to get those who can still remember the good times to put away the carry out and bottles of wine, and get back out to the pub for a pint with their mates. Conor, Gary, Leo and Rory have saved up and put strings on their guitars, new skins on the drums, and programmed the synths to play a set that includes all the old favorites from Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, Horslips, Cold Play etc. They have even added new tracks from Snow Patrol, The Killers, King's of Leon. Maroon 5 and others in a cynical attempt to attract those who haven't seen them before! They look forward to seeing you at gigs across Ireland in the near future.
